1. What do you love to write about?

I enjoy using words to generate interest and get people to take action in a convincing way. I love writing short, beautiful pieces. This includes poems, short stories, and blog posts. I love to write emails or any kind of writing that connect with my readers and viewers on an emotional level. I love to explore a wide range of topics or ideas that strike my fancy.

2. My level of experience with earning from writing is…

I'm a complete newbie but super pumped to do this and start earning! I've got some experience but never explored the idea of earning from my writing. I'm already earning, but looking for ways to take my writing career to new heights.

3. How do you currently find new copywriting clients?

I use Freelance sites like Fiverr, Upwork, and other job boards. I post on Whatsapp status to market my copy services. I send cold pitches to people that I want to work with it. I am currently not marketing myself, but the prospect of copywriting is exciting to me, and I want to explore.

4. If your copywriting style had a slogan, what would it be?

“Purchase Now!” “Want to find out? Click here to learn more." “Sit up! Let me tell you how it all started…” I’m not sure I fully understand what copywriting is all about, can’t wait to find out.

5. What type of projects would you prefer to take on most often?

Quick writing projects with relatively short turnaround time (1-2 weeks) that pay between $100 - $1500 High-level projects with a longer timeline that pays $1,000 - $5,000 Recurring projects from repeat clients - doesn't matter what it is or what it pays. I'm open to taking on gigs that may pay the minimum to get started. My goal is to grow and evolve as a writer, with the aim of securing high-value clients who value my skills and expertise.

6. Finding your dream client: What would you consider your greatest strength?

I'm an extrovert! Talking about myself and the value that I add to businesses is super exciting. I am a private person, and I am open to sending a few targeted pitches to clients needing my skill and expertise. Man! I am a hustler. I’m down for any technique or strategy that brings money into my bank. The idea of marketing puts me off, but willing to learn since that's how I make money from writing.

7. How scared are you to start earning from your writing? Don't worry; this is a safe place to share.

Not scared! With the right guidance, I'm willing to invest in myself and do whatever it takes to succeed. I'm still a little nervous about taking the plunge. But I'm determined to dive in and level up my skills. Overall, I am enthusiastic about building a profitable freelance copywriting business. Let's get started!
